QUISPAMSIS, NB, December 21, 2012 - The Saint John Vitos gave themselves an early Christmas present Friday night, winning 4-1 over the Moncton Flyers at the Q-Plex. It was a complete turn around from their last game when the Flyers held them to just one goal while scoring four.

The Flyers will meet the Fredericton Canadiens Saturday night at the Red Ball Internet Centre at 7:30m hoping to turn things around before the holiday break. Saint John will visit the Canadiens Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm at Willie O'Ree Place.

The Flyers got off to an early lead scoring their lone goal in the first off the stick of Joey Richard from Alex Bradley and Alexander Jacob and were up 1-0 when the buzzer went to end the first 20 minutes of play.

But that was the last scoring they did as the Vitos had the lone goal in the second to knot the score as Matthew Gray scored his first of two on the night with the help of Thomas Leonard. Gray also scored the final goal of the game, an empty netter with Will Bower and Jean-Michel LeBlanc assisting.

Three goals in the third made the difference in the game as Damian Gallant and Will Bower scored. Gray assisted on the first and LeBlanc on Bower's goal.

Jacob King was the winning goaltender stopping 26 of 27 shots. Alex Collette took the loss making 34 saves.
